John Ruskin College, in association with Protec, Croydn Athletic Football Club, Stevange FC and the Engish College's FA, are inviting footballers of county, senior club youth team, or those of a good standard, to apply to join the Football Academy

Aims of the Academy

The Football Academy equally combines player development alongside vocational studies that prepare you, both for the professional game and working in the sports industry.  During training sessions you will develop your own knowledge of how to manage your fitness and nutrition, as well as avoid and rehabilitate from injury.  You will also develop your technical, team-playing skills and tactical awareness.  During the season you will have the opportunity to play against high level semi-professional or professional opposition (including the FA Youth Cup), attend trials at clubs and be seen by club scouts.

It is esential that applicants understand that places in the Academy are dependent on meeting the requirements of both the College course and football ability.
